Wings Over America WWII Poster Cufflinks

Sale price$70.00

Presented are “Wings Over America” WWII poster cufflinks. These square cufflinks were made using imagery from an original WWII Army Air Corps recruitment poster, by the acclaimed artist Tom Woodburn, published in 1939.

The original poster depicts a formation of Seversky P-35 fighters led by an American Eagle bearing the Army Air Corps’ aircraft roundel.  The U.S. Army Air Corps was the aerial warfare service unit of the U.S. Army between the years of 1926 and 1941. Following World War I, on July 2, 1926, the Army Air Service was renamed the Army Air Corps. The Air Corps later became the United States Army Air Forces in 1941. Posters such as this one encouraged onlookers to do their part in the war effort by enlisting or buying bonds to support the military.

These striking “Wings Over America” WWII poster cufflinks are the perfect patriotic accessory.

Available in a square format. Cufflink set is silver-plated. Presented in a Great Republic cufflink gift box.
