Vintage Sterling Silver Chicago Souvenir Tea Spoon
Offered is a vintage sterling silver souvenir spoon for Chicago, Illinois. The bowl has the word “Chicago” engraved in a fanciful script. The shoulders have filigree, with “Illinois” on the stem. The handle has an eagle set against a setting sun. In the eagle's beak there is a scrolling banner with the state motto, "State Sovereignty, National Union.” In the eagle’s talons is a Union shield. The heel is stamped “Sterling” and has three hallmark stamps.

Good condition. Sterling silver. Front and back spoon design is legible. Some light tarnish. Three hallmark stamps.
