Vintage Leather and Wood Wine Carrier
Presented is a vintage leather and wood wine carrier from the 20th century. This carrier is a stylish way to carry two bottles of wine to a picnic or dinner. It also makes great decorative storage around the house for bottles being saved for a special occasion. The tall, oval body is made of wood and covered in leather, with leather straps and top leather handle. It has a metal latch securing the lid to the body, as well as buckles and snaps on the straps. It is decorated with a carved wood trim around the top and bottom.
The rich leather and wood carrier opens to reveal a wooden interior with a wood divider. This keeps glass wine bottles from hitting each other during transport, protecting precious (and delicious) cargo.
CONDITION:
Very good condition. Leather has a few scuffs and surface wear, as expected with age and past use, but overall very attractive. All hardware, to include top latch, buckles, and snaps, are intact and working. Divided interior wooden compartment. Dimensions: 14 1/2" H x 10" W x 6 1/2" D. Weighs 3.10 pounds.
