Bennington Flag Throw Blanket
Own a piece of American history, reimagined for today. This Bennington Flag Throw Blanket, custom-designed in collaboration with Faribault Mill, is based on the historic Bennington Flag from our rare flag collection. The throw blanket brings one of the most iconic and rare designs from our nation’s past into your home, combining bold, patriotic style with lasting quality.
This commemorative blanket displays the classic elements associated with the celebrated historic Bennington Flag design: a deep blue canton with the large white numerals “76,” symbolizing the birth of the nation, surmounted by an arc of thirteen seven-pointed stars, representing the thirteen original colonies-turned-states. The rest of the blanket design is composed of thirteen alternating stripes in the rare Revolutionary-era heraldic order, beginning with white and alternating with red, rather than the red-first pattern adopted in later American flags.
Crafted by Faribault Mill, a trusted American maker for over 160 years, each blanket is woven from premium natural fibers and finished by hand in their historic Minnesota and Maine mills. The result is a product that doesn’t just look exceptional, it’s built to last for generations.
Made from a luxurious blend of 85% wool and 15% cotton, this blanket delivers the perfect balance of softness, breathability, and warmth. Hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to fire, water, and odors, it offers everyday comfort with performance you can rely on.
Whether displayed or used, this is more than a blanket: it’s a heritage piece and a patriotic celebration, designed to be lived with, shared, and passed down.
