This antique Siamese Cat Charm has been fashioned into a necklace by vintage jewelry designers, Intellectual Property. The sterling silver charm has a shield shape, with the text “Siamese Cat Club” in raised relief along the bottom. At the center of the charm is a hand painted siamese cat against a red background. The reverse of the charm is hallmarked with a “V&S”, indicating the medal was made by the Birmingham company of Vaughton & Sons. The charm is also hallmarked with the anchor, the lion passant, and the lowercase “l”, indicating the charm was made in 1910. The charm is presented on a strand of knotted leather and fastened with a sterling silver toggle.
