Antique Bronze Saint Anthony of Padua Charm from Uruguay on Faceted Apatite Necklace
This antique bronze Saint Anthony of Padua charm has been fashioned into a necklace by vintage jewelry designers, Intellectual Property. The charm’s obverse shows a raised-relief depiction of Saint Anthony of Padua, in robes, holding baby Jesus and a lily stem. The reverse of the medal depicts Capilla de San Antonio, is a small chapel located at the top of San Antonio Hill in Piriapolis, Uruguay. The chapel is devoted to Saint Anthony of Padua. It is engraved with the text “Recuerdo De Piriapolis” at the top. Translated, the text reads, “Memories of Piriapolis.” The charm is presented on a strand of faceted blue apatite, with a sterling silver toggle.
