Presented is a vintage General Motors public service poster titled "American Duty. Register and Vote," circa 1950s. Produced for display by General Motors dealers, the poster was printed by Impact Promotions of Detroit, Michigan. It is a fine example of mid-20th century corporate civic messaging and patriotic advertising.
The design features a patriotic palette of red, white, and blue, centered around a stylized portrait of George Washington. The poster makes the simple and direct appeal to viewers, "American Duty.
