Vintage President George Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle "America's Bicentennial Presidential Inaugural" Pennant, 1989

Presented is a vintage felt pennant celebrating both the inauguration of President George H.W. Bush and the 200th anniversary of U.S. Presidential inaugural ceremonies.

This felt pennant has a blue felt field and a red headband. Printed on the field is the Inaugural Seal displaying the Capitol Building and the names "Bush" and "Quayle." Above and below the image of the Capitol are the years “1789” and “1989,” denoting the first year a president, George Washington, was sworn into office and the year the pennant was made. The pennant also reads, "American Bicentennial Presidential Inaugural / January 20, 1989" down the length of the pennant. 

George H.W. Bush served as the 41st U.S. president from 1989-1993. 

CONDITION: 

Good condition. Printed blue felt pennant, with machine-sewn red felt headband.  The felt pennant is slightly soiled near the fly end. Creasing at the tip. Otherwise no notable damage. Sold unframed, as-is. Pennant Dimensions: 12" H x 30 1/4" W.
