Vintage "Washington D.C. Eisenhower-Nixon Inauguration" Pennant, 1953

Presented is a vintage pennant celebrating the inauguration of Dwight D. Eisenhower and his running mate Richard Nixon. The felt pennant has a maroon field with a white headband and white ties. The pennant is printed with a large depiction of the Capitol Building at top, as well as Eisenhower's portrait at the bottom. The pennant text reads, "Washington D.C. / Eisenhower - Nixon Inauguration - Jan. 20, 1953." 

Eisenhower served as the 34th U.S. President from 1953-1961. His military legacy from WWII helped him lead the country in the years after the conflict.

CONDITION: 

Very good condition. The felt pennant has a maroon field with a white machine-sewn headband and white ties. The pennant has some creasing and soiling, especially on the headband. Some loose threads along the edges. Ties show wear. Unframed, sold as-is.
