Presented is a signed, limited edition printing of Kurt Vonnegut’s Look at the Birdie. This collector’s edition was published by Easton Press in 2009 in a limited edition of only 1000 copies. The book is signed by the Vonnegut, but released posthumously by Easton Press. Beautifully bound, the book is presented in its original pictorial blue leather boards, stamped in teal and gilt, with raised bands to the spine, silk moiré endpapers, and all edges gilt.

Look at the Birdie was first published in October of 2009 by Delacorte Press. A posthumous publication, Look at the Birdie is a collection of fourteen previously unpublished short stories by Vonnegut. Featuring a Foreword by author and longtime Vonnegut confidant Sidney Offit and illustrated with Vonnegut's characteristically insouciant line drawings, Look at the Birdie serves as a terrific introduction to his short fiction.

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. (1922–2007) emerged as a novelist and essayist in the 1960s and penned the classic books Cat's Cradle, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Breakfast of Champions before 1980. He is known for his satirical style and celebrated for the creative science-fiction elements found in his work. He blended literature with science fiction and humor and the absurd with pointed social commentary. Vonnegut is considered one of the most influential American novelists of the twentieth century.
