Presented is a vintage celebratory pennant in honor of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's and Henry Wallace's Presidential and Vice Presidential inauguration.
The felt pennant has a purple field with a yellow headband. Printed at left is a vignette of the Capitol building and a portrait of FDR and his Vice President Henry Wallace. The white printed text running the length of the pennant reads, "Washington D.C. Inauguration, Jan. 20, 1941."
This pennant would have been used to celebrate the Inauguration of Roosevelt to his second term in office. Sworn in as the 32nd president, FDR's legacy includes his "New Deal" program and U.S. involvement in WWII.
Very good condition, considering age. The felt pennant is slightly soiled overall. Some creases in printed areas. Otherwise, no notable damage. Pennant dimensions: 10 3/4" H x 27 3/4" W.
