Presented is a lovely pair of vintage brass bookends. Bookends were produced by Philadelphia Mfg. Co. and feature a spread wing eagle atop a plaque that reads "1776," representative of the year of America's independence from Great Britain. Eagle pair are made of brass and colored in a vibrant silver. Backs of eagles are a darker gray color. Eagle figure features detailed wings and head.
Good vintage condition. Slight wear visible, with some chips and scuffs around the bases of the bookends. Stamped on the back: "PMC 114B." Dimensions: 6.75" H x 5.25" W x 2.75" D.
