1921 "VH" Sterling Silver Watch FOB on Freshwater Pearls Necklace

This is an antique sterling silver watch fob from Birmingham, England. The intricate watch fob is in engraved "VH" and dates to 1921. The watch fob was found and transformed into a unique necklace by vintage jewelry designers, Intellectual Property.  The fob hangs on a strand of freshwater pearls, with a sterling silver toggle.

The pearls on this necklace shine, in beautiful hues of blue and purple. Freshwater pearls have been used by jewelry artists for years, due to their distinctive surface texture and the warmth of their luster.

Searching the braderies and antique shops throughout Europe, the founders of Intellectual Property, Mary and Hallie, specialize in finding unique antique medals and  transforming them into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. Their designs highlight the legacy and integrity of the original pieces, artfully bringing the past into the present.
