This is the World War I poster by Herbert Andrew Paus advertising the Woman's Land Army of America. It was published in 1918.

After the United States entered WWI in 1917, there were major concerns regarding labor and food shortages after men left to fight. Women’s Land Army was one of many organizations that recruited and trained women to perform agricultural work to support the country. This poster by Herbert Andrew Paus (1880-1946) shows two women carrying a basket of vegetables in front of a woman in uniform on horseback with a U.S. flag.

Very good condition for age. Framed according to the highest preservation standards. Framed dimensions: 32" H x 22" W x 1 1/2"D.
