The "Cellar's Best", Signed by Artist & Engraver, Circa 1906

This is a 1906, 1st edition engraving, signed by artist Walter Dendy Sadler (1845-1923) and engraver James Dobie depicting English gentlemen drinking claret (red wine) around a table.

This etching was printed in 1906 by L.H. Lefevre & Son of London. The edition size was limited to 450 signed, remarqued etchings that measure 19 3/8”x 13.5”.  The artist remarque features a decanter, bottle and funnel.
