Silver Golf Ink Stand With Brush, Circa 1900
This is a spectacular early 20th century ink stand with a golf motif. Two detailed golf balls open up to reveal the ink wells, which are removable for cleaning. Between the wells is a well designed to hold the ink brush with two crossed clubs in the front. The brush can also be easily removed. The base consists of an ornate claw-foot design. An amazing find to complete an office or study. Measures 7 inches long by 3 inches wide at the base. Stands 4.5 inches tall with wells open. Circa 1900.
