Presented is an antique sterling silver clock from 1890, which would have been designed as a member's prize for the Breakfast Creek Rowing Club. This unique clock is designed with a rowing theme, with two large rowing oars that support the clock on either side. Around the clock and coming together at the top is a decorative rope border, with a rope winch at top. The clock is mounted on a wooden base with a braided silver boarder. An inscription on the base reads: "Presented to Mr. Edward H. Drory by the members of the Breakfast Creek Rowing Club. April 1890."
The piece is in good condition with wear consistent with age. The clock face has some slight discoloration, specifically near the three and four o'clock markings. Some general tarnish is visible, but nothing to diminish the overall look of the piece.
