This is the first edition, first printing of Bill Clinton’s memoirs, My Life. The book was published in New York by Alfred A. Knopf, on June 22, 2004. Bill Clinton signed the full title page of this book in blue ink. The book is presented in its original blue boards, with gilt titles to the spine, and its original pictorial dust jacket. 

An engrossing read, President Clinton's book is a concretely detailed and nuanced account of a presidency. The book illustrates the presidency through the day-to-day bombardment of problems, personalities, conflicts, setbacks, and achievements.

This is the first state of first printing with "failure" versus "failures" in the last line of the acknowledgments section. Laid into the book is a card identifying this as "Purchased From The Second Story Bookshop, Chappaqua, New York, Home of William Jefferson Clinton. Forty Second President of the United States" It also numbers this book as No. 2293 purchased from that particular bookshop. 

CONDITION: 

Overall very good condition. Octavo. In the publisher's original  blue hardback boards with gilt lettered spine and original pictorial dust jacket. New mylar protects the original dust jacket. Signed by Bill Clinton on the full title page, in blue ink. Inscription is legible and bold. Interior pages are clean. Laid in bookseller’s card, from The Second Story Book Shop, indicating first place of purchase. With a new archival cloth slipcase, with President Clinton’s photograph inlaid on the front.
