Apollo 11 Moon Landing Leather Journal

In the heat of the Space Race, the United States put the first men on the moon. On July 20, 1969, American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to land on the moon as part of the Apollo 11 expedition. As Armstrong took his first step on the moon's surface, his famous words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" were beamed back to Earth, where millions were watching in awe of the epic achievement.

To celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the first lunar landing, we teamed up with expert leather makers Tactile Craftworks to design a special Apollo 11 commemorative journal.

The journal design features a striking lunar map of the Moon's surface. The map starts at the front flap and extend to the back of the journal. Neil Armstrong's quote "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" is stamped on the front at lower left.  The back of the journal has our Great Republic stamp celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo landing.

The journals are made of quality leather from Seidel Tannery and close securely with a solid brass closure.  Each journal is refillable and includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. Journal dimensions: 9" H x 6" W.

**This journal is exclusive to The Great Republic.
