King George VI & Queen Mother Coronation Flag, Circa 1936

This is a commemorative coronation flag ,featuring the portrait of King George VI and the Queen Mother - Queen Elizabeth's parents.  Their portrait sits atop the Union Jack.

King George VI (1895 – 1952) was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from December 11, 1936 until his death on February 6th, 1952.  He was the last Emperor of India and the first Head of the Commonwealth. 

The flag is beautifully presented using the finest archival materials and procedures.
