Golf Pin Cushion Trophy, Circa 1934

Offered is a silver golf trophy, designed in the form of a pin cushion. The unique trophy features two crossed golf clubs at back, standing up on each other. In the center is a large golf ball, with a removable top, designed to function as a pin cushion. The cushion features green velvet. The golf ball rests inside a small stem, designed as a golf tee, which rests on the bottom square silver base. The piece is mounted on a wood block, which is inscribed "G.C.G. 1934 R. Hamer."


Good, age appropriate condition. Some noticeable scuff marks to wooden base. Silver retains overall good condition. Pin cushion felt is slightly discolored and frayed where pins were put into it. Silver base comes up slightly from the wooden mount at one corner.
