Al Worden served as the command module pilot for the Apollo 15 mission to the Moon in 1971. Worden spent six days orbiting the Moon, including three of those days when he was completely alone. His distance from another human during that time made him the most isolated person in existence. This book tells Worden's story of exhilaration as well as isolation.
