"Dallas. Continental Airlines" Vintage Travel Poster, Circa 1965

Sale price$2,950.00

Offered is an attractive Continental Air Lines travel poster advertising Dallas, Texas, circa 1965. This travel poster features illustrations of a man and two women dressed in classic western attire against a light blue background. The figures are posed above the Continental Airlines logo. This logo for Continental was used up until 1967. The word "DALLAS" is printed across the top in bright red letters.

Continental Airlines was a major airline in the United States that operated from 1934 until it merged with United Airlines in 2012. Their slogan was "The Proud Bird with the Golden Tail." Continental started out as one of the smaller airline companies in the United States, advertising high quality and luxury service.
