This is an original set of coins dating to the mid to late 19th century. The cufflinks are made from a Seated Liberty Dime, circa 1839. The Seated Liberty Dimes were minted between 1837-1891 and were produced by the U.S. Mint at several branches across the United States. The cufflinks feature both the face and the obverse, with seated Liberty holding a shield and pole with a freedom cap. The studs are made of half dimes, minted between 1837-1873, featuring seated Liberty surrounded by a ring of stars. The studs were minted in varying years.
