"The Buffalo Runners" Frederic Remington Chromolithograph, Circa 1910

This is an artist's proof chromolithograph of The Buffalo Runners by Frederick Remington. The print includes Remington's printed signature in the bottom right. The composition depicts a group of Native Americans on horseback hunting American buffalo. The scene depicts the pivotal moment when one of the large buffalo is speared by the hunter. Remington was made famous for illustrations and paintings such as this, depicting the American Wild West in the second half of the 19th century.


Good condition. Image is clean and free of significant staining or foxing. Creases are present in the margins, specifically along the left side. Unframed, sold as-is.
