Presented is a first edition printing of James Iwrin's Destination Moon. This book is signed and inscribed by Irwin. Published in 1989, Destination: Moon is a both a personal and spiritual account of Irwin's Apollo 15 journey.

James Benson "Jim" Irwin (1930 – 1991) was an American astronaut, aeronautical engineer, test pilot, and United States Air Force pilot. He served in the Apollo 15 mission which was the fourth human landing on the Moon. In this memoir, Irwin describes his training and schooling to become an astronaut,  his participation in the Apollo 15 voyage, and the resulting reevaluation of his faith after walking the surface of the Moon.
