Hemingway has signed the card on the vertical "Ernest Hemingway" in dark, bold ink. The signed card is accompanied by a black and white photograph of Hemingway, above.
Ernest Hemingway was an American author and journalist. His distinctive writing style, characterized by economy and understatement, strongly influenced 20th-century fiction, as did his life of adventure and his public image. Hemingway produced most of his work between the mid-1920s and the mid-1950s, winning the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954. This unique collage celebrates the famed author and all that he offered the literary world during the early to mid 20th century.
Overall very good condition. Original signature is bold and dark, with no smudging or stains across autograph. Card has some surface wear, with light abrasions at right side. Signature piece is accompanied by a black and white photograph of Hemingway. Framed according to conservation standards in a dark, wooden frame.
